Slate wall and floor tiles can add a touch of icy chill to any room – slate keeps amazingly cool, no matter how hot the house. Similar material is used for roof tiles, but our Grade A slate tiles are fracture free, and solid. Though it will not withstand the shock of something being dropped on it, and scratches when cut upon, slate wall and floor tiles are a great choice for any room that needs a touch of grey, in a myriad of varying shades.

You can even use slate tiles outside for your paths and other tiled areas. Our slate tiles are carefully hewn from the best slate seams, carefully tested to ensure they won’t crack or fracture and then cut into tiles along natural lines, precluding any chance of them accidentally splitting.

Once laid, they can be treated and used in a myriad of rooms, though bathrooms are probably the forte of slate. They don’t absorb water, and are readily available in shiny and matt tiles. Our slate tiles for walls and floors are also designed to complement each other, allowing you a greater palette to mix and match from.

No other stone allows you to mix it up quite the way slate does – they blend well with one another, or contrast so starkly that they compliment any decor.
