Acid Wash Marble Tiles

Acid Wash marble tiles

Acid washed marble floor and wall tiles are made with a treatment that makes the marble look older – or aged, but isn’t quite as extreme as antiqued marble.

The acid partially etches and dissolves the very top layer of the marble, giving it texture and character. It makes the surface of the marble slightly more porous than other marble finishes, such as polished marble, which means it’s a lot more forgiving in areas of high wear and tear.

While acid washed marble tiles are hardy, it can be scratched, and acid washed marble may conceal most of the scratches, especially if it’s sealed. We recommend several coats of sealant to ensure that your acid washed marble floor and wall tiles are well preserved.

All our acid washed marble tiles are priced inclusive of VAT as standard with the per metre squared price, unless otherwise stated, and also with free delivery.

Our low minimum order of five metres squared and grade A stone tiles for floors and walls are designed to help make a real statement.
