Basalt Tiles

Basalt is one of the most amazing stones in our range – its volcanic ash and lava, compressed into an amazingly hardy stone.

We cut our basalt stone tiles from the best quality basalt available, and finish the grade A stone with a variety of techniques.

This dense well composed rock comes in a variety of shades of grey and is eye-catching and adds a touch of style to any room. This versatile material is fairly hard, so can be used almost anywhere. Add a good sealant to preserve the beauty and bring out the lustre of basalt stone tiles – though not as vulnerable to acid as some other tiles in our range, it can be stained, or marked when exposed to the wrong substances.

To avoid this we recommend a good sealant, as it will bring out the natural beauty of the stone while protecting it from any damage. Use them in your kitchen, bathroom, bar, mudroom, conservatory or porch. Once treated whether they are textured or not, you’ll find basalt tiles are easy to clean and maintain, and the varying shades of grey range from light to dark – all are breathtaking and from the highest grade quarries.

With character, and depth, basalt wall and floor tiles make a more refined statement, as they aren’t commonly used as yet. All basalt tiles come with free delivery, our prices are by the metre square unless otherwise stated and include VAT.

Basalt wall and floor tiles have a minimum order quantity of 5m2 per order and are of the highest quality, always.
